Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs

Maslow’s Heirarchy of Needs

This is a thought-provoking alternative way of looking at online services – through a citizen’s Hierarchy of Needs, comparing it with Maslow’s original pyramid, e.g.:

“Physiology = Basic Transactions – The foundation of Maslow’s hierarchy is physiological – breathing, food, water.  For government, that’s the basic transactions – getting your driver’s license, renewing your passport, applying for food stamps.”

Do you agree with the comparisons made and could you apply the model to your own Council services?
