Fostering Case Study

Birmingham City Council (BCC) Customer Knowledge team worked closely with the BCC Fostering team to identify the different methods that can be used to communicate and engage with Customers who both use the service and potential new customers.   This was achieved through providing profiled information about existing and potential customers and targeted to increase the number of people that use the service.

Using Mosaic segmentation profiles and detailed analysis provided down to ward level, Customer Knowledge helped the Children’s Commissioning team understand certain characteristics about potential fosterers and plan future awareness campaigns.
